At OneBonsai you are able to rent a HTC Vive cheaply without having to invest in the hardware yourself. This means that you do not have to worry about the maintenance of the device as it will be done by us! Our kits include all of the required controllers, tracking sensors, the headset and, if required, a VR-ready computer.

The HTC Vive is the best Virtual Reality headset out there! It will allow you to freely move around in an area of up to 5×5 (for more, ask us specifically). You can look around in 360 degrees, and use the controllers to interact with the environment.

Specifications HTC Vive

The HTC Vive is a very advanced piece of technology that allows you to immerse yourself in virtual worlds. It is developed by HTC and Valve and consists of a headset, controllers and so-called base stations. The headset includes a display for each eye with a resolution of 1080×1200 (for the original HTC Vive) and 1440×1600 (for the new HTC Vive Pro, 2018). This allows for an excellent viewing quality which will help you get immersed easily. The headset features lots of sensors among which an accelerometer, gyroscope, front camera and laser sensors. The latter sensors are used in combination with the base stations to define the position of the headset at any given time within the 3D space.

The HTC Vive has a framerate of 90 frames per second to ensure a smooth video feed for each eye. This high frame rate is required to avoid motion sickness which can happen if the frame rate drops too significantly for your eyes. The displays exhibit a wide field of view of more than 110 degrees.

We receive a rental request from you. This request includes which devices you need, the amount, duration and location.

2. Custom quote

We generate a custom quote for your event.

3. Quote approval

You approve the quote. From now on, you can be sure to get your devices in time at your location!

4. Delivery

We deliver through a trusted delivery service at your location. You can now use them at your event.

5. Return

You can return the devices using our delivery service, or you can deposit them at our office.

6. Invoice

After we have checked the devices, you will receive an invoice with all included.
